Custom Planter Box
Raised beds at a height that saves your back
Raised planters make gardening easier and keep beds tidy on paving or a small patio. The critical details are drainage and lining — a planter that holds water rots its own timber and drowns the plants. We build both in properly.

What you can choose
- Height from low bed to waist-height for easy planting
- Drainage holes and a liner fitted as standard
- Timber-clad sides, or exposed steel
- Single boxes, matched sets, or tiered arrangements
- On feet to keep the base off wet paving
Typical sizes
- 800mm × 400mm × 600mm high is the popular size
- Longer runs built to fit along a wall or boundary
These are starting points, not a catalogue. Every piece is built to your measurements.
How we build your planter box
01
Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.
02
We quote and confirm
We ask what you’re growing. Herbs and lettuce need less depth than tomatoes or a small tree, and depth is what we set the build around. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.
03
We build it
Lined so soil doesn’t sit against the steel, with drainage holes and feet lifting the base clear of the ground so water runs away.
04
Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.
Planter Boxs we’ve built
A few we’ve made recently. Yours can be a different size, timber or finish — tell us what you have in mind.

Popular with townhouse and estate gardens in Centurion, Midrand and Pretoria East, and delivered throughout Gauteng. Elsewhere in the province, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth the trip.
Questions we get asked
Will the steel get too hot for the plants?
It can in full afternoon sun if the box is small and unlined. The liner and soil volume buffer that, and for hot spots we’d suggest a slightly larger box or a lighter colour.
How long does the timber last?
Sealed and off the ground, several years before it needs attention. The liner keeps wet soil off the timber, which is what makes the difference.
