Custom Swing Gate
Single or double leaf, built square and hung true
Swing gates suit properties with the space to open inwards and a driveway without room for a gate to slide alongside. Fewer moving parts than a sliding gate, but the hanging matters enormously — a gate hung out of square will drop within months.

Typical sizes
- Double gates: 3m–4.5m total opening
- Pedestrian gates: 900mm–1.1m wide
- Height typically 1.8m–2.1m

How we build your swing gate

Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.

We quote and confirm
We check the opening, the fall of the driveway, and where the posts will sit — gate posts carry the whole weight and are where most jobs are won or lost. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.

We build it
Hinges are welded to the frame and the post, adjustable at installation so we can hang the gate dead level even if your posts aren’t perfectly plumb.

Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.

Questions we get asked
Which is better, swing or sliding?
Sliding if your driveway slopes or you have no room for the gate to swing into. Swing if you have the space — fewer parts, less to maintain. We’ll give you an honest recommendation once we see photos of the opening.
Do you supply the posts too?
Yes, we build and set the posts as part of the job. Using existing posts is possible if they’re sound, and we’ll tell you if they aren’t.
