Custom Storage Cabinet

Closed storage that hides the mess

Sometimes open shelving is the wrong answer and you just want the clutter behind a door. A steel-framed cabinet with timber doors works in a lounge, an office or a garage, and unlike a melamine unit it won’t sag or swell if something spills inside.

Custom storage cabinet in steel and wood, built in Gauteng

What you can choose

  • Hinged or sliding doors
  • Internal shelves at the spacing you need
  • A lock, if it’s going into a garage or workshop
  • Timber-clad or steel-panel doors
  • On legs, or on a solid plinth

Typical sizes

  • 900mm–1800mm wide
  • 450mm deep is standard
  • 800–900mm high, or full height on request

These are starting points, not a catalogue. Every piece is built to your measurements.

How we build your storage cabinet

01

Send us the space

WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.

02

We quote and confirm

We ask what’s going inside. Files need one shelf spacing, paint tins and tools need another, and a lock changes the door design. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.

03

We build it

Doors are hung on welded hinges rather than screwed-on hardware, and we set the gaps evenly so they close square and stay that way.

04

Delivery and install

We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.

Storage Cabinets we’ve built

A few we’ve made recently. Yours can be a different size, timber or finish — tell us what you have in mind.

Built for homes, offices and workshops across Gauteng, with regular deliveries into Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and the East Rand. Elsewhere in the province, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth the trip.

Questions we get asked

Can it be lockable?

Yes — we fit a hasp for a padlock, or a proper cabinet lock if it’s going indoors and you want it to look neater.

Will the doors sag over time?

Not with welded hinges on a steel frame. Sagging doors are usually a symptom of a chipboard carcass giving way, which isn’t a failure mode here.
