Custom Coffee Table
The piece everyone puts their feet on
A coffee table lives a hard life — feet, mugs, plates, remote controls, the occasional child standing on it. A thick timber top on a welded steel base handles all of that and still looks better after a few years than a chipboard one does on day one.

What you can choose
- Rectangular, square, or with softened corners if you have small kids
- Lower shelf for books and remotes, or left open underneath
- Top thickness from 32mm up to a chunky 50mm
- Matching side tables built from the same timber batch
- Lockable castors if you move it for cleaning
- Matt, satin or gloss sealer
Typical sizes
- 1.1m × 600mm is the everyday standard
- 900mm square works better in smaller lounges
- Height 400–450mm — we match it to your sofa seat
These are starting points, not a catalogue. Every piece is built to your measurements.
How we build your coffee table
01
Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.
02
We quote and confirm
We ask for the length of your sofa and the gap you want to walk through. Roughly two thirds of the sofa length is the sweet spot. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.
03
We build it
Timber top glued up, sanded flat, edges eased so nobody catches a shin, then sealed. Steel base welded as one piece so there’s nothing to work loose.
04
Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.
Coffee Tables we’ve built
A few we’ve made recently. Yours can be a different size, timber or finish — tell us what you have in mind.

We deliver coffee tables across Gauteng, with most going to Centurion, Midrand, Sandton, Fourways and the Pretoria suburbs. Elsewhere in the province, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth the trip.
Questions we get asked
Will it mark from hot cups?
The polyurethane sealer handles warm mugs fine, but we still recommend coasters for anything straight off the stove. Timber is a natural material and heat is what eventually dulls any finish.
Can it match a TV stand?
Yes — build them together and we cut both from the same timber and stain them in the same batch, which gets you a much closer match than ordering months apart.
