Custom Shoe Rack / Bench
Sit down, put your shoes on, get out the door
The pile of shoes at the front door is a universal problem. A steel-framed rack with a timber bench top gives everyone a place to sit while they put shoes on, and tiers underneath that keep the pile off the floor.
What you can choose
- Two or three tiers of shelving
- Solid bench top for seating, or open all the way up
- Slatted shelves so damp shoes dry out
- Width to fit your entrance or wardrobe
- A hook rail above for coats and bags

How we build your shoe rack

Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.

We quote and confirm
Count the pairs that actually pile up. Two tiers holds about eight pairs at 900mm wide; three tiers holds twelve. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.

We build it
Shelves are usually slatted with a gap so grit falls through and wet soles dry — easier to keep clean than a solid shelf.

Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.

Questions we get asked
Will it take an adult sitting on it?
Yes. The bench top version is built on the same frame we use for dining benches, so it takes an adult’s weight without flexing.
Can it fit inside a wardrobe?
Often yes — send us the internal width, depth and height and we’ll build to fit. It’s one of the more common custom requests we get.
