Custom Console / Entry Table
Narrow enough for a hallway, strong enough for everything you drop on it
Console tables solve awkward spaces — a narrow passage, the wall behind a sofa, the spot by the front door where keys and post pile up. Because they’re shallow, the frame does the structural work, which is exactly what welded steel is good at.
What you can choose
- Depth from 250mm to 350mm to suit a tight passage
- Lower shelf, a drawer, or left completely open
- Wall-fixed for a floating look, or freestanding on legs
- Hooks welded underneath for keys and dog leads
- Length cut to your wall, down to the millimetre
Typical sizes
- 1.0m–1.6m long is typical
- 300mm deep suits most passages
- 800mm high — slightly taller than a dining table

How we build your console table

Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.

We quote and confirm
Measure the wall and tell us what has to sit on top — a lamp and a bowl needs less than a row of school bags. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.

We build it
Because these are narrow and tall, we widen the foot slightly or fix to the wall so it can’t be tipped. Timber top sealed on all faces, underside included, so it doesn’t cup.

Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.

Console tables travel well, so we deliver anywhere in Gauteng — Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, Randburg, Roodepoort and across the East Rand. Elsewhere in the province, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth the trip.
Questions we get asked
Can it go behind my sofa?
Yes, and it’s a great use of the space. Measure the height of the sofa back and we’ll build the table 10–20mm lower so it sits neatly without showing above the cushions.
Should it be fixed to the wall?
If you have small children or a narrow depth under 300mm, we’d recommend it. We supply the brackets and fixings with the piece.
