Custom Log Store
Keeps firewood dry and off the ground
Firewood stacked against a wall stays damp and burns badly. A log store lifts the wood clear of the ground and lets air move through the stack, which is what actually dries it. Steel frame, open sides, and a roof that sheds water away from the wood.

What you can choose
- Width and depth to hold the volume you buy
- Open front and back for airflow
- A roof, or left open if it lives under cover
- Wall-mounted or freestanding
- A separate kindling shelf
Typical sizes
- 1.2m wide holds roughly half a bakkie load
- 1.8m wide for a full season’s wood
These are starting points, not a catalogue. Every piece is built to your measurements.
How we build your log store
01
Send us the space
WhatsApp a photo of where it’s going, plus rough measurements. A sketch on paper is perfectly fine.
02
We quote and confirm
We ask how much wood you buy at a time and whether it’s delivered loose or bagged, because that decides the depth and opening size. You get a price and a timeline before anything is cut.
03
We build it
The base is raised and slatted so air moves under the stack, and the roof overhangs at the front so rain runs off clear of the wood.
04
Delivery and install
We deliver across Gauteng and install on site where the piece needs it.
Log Stores we’ve built
A few we’ve made recently. Yours can be a different size, timber or finish — tell us what you have in mind.

Log stores are ordered alongside fire pits and braais throughout Gauteng, with most going to Pretoria, Centurion and Midrand. Elsewhere in the province, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth the trip.
Questions we get asked
How much wood does it hold?
A 1.2m store holds roughly half a bakkie load stacked properly. Tell us how you buy your wood and we’ll size it accordingly.
Where should it go?
Somewhere with airflow, ideally not tight against a wall. Wood dries with moving air more than with sun, so an open, sheltered spot beats a hot corner.
